Lockdown Eve

It’s been a very civilised day all things considered.

A busy morning preceded a pre-lockdown lunch with a good friend as we caught up and enjoyed some good food, breaking only to take pesky work calls.

Knowing that the children were with me this evening, I’d gone out for a run first thing this morning, possibly fuelled by a bizarre and dangerous speech from the mouthed satsuma across the pond.

I have felt tense watching the results come in, so goodness only knows what those poor Americans must be feeling like at this moment in time. It is fascinating to see that it has not been the landslide in Biden’s favour that many were predicting and despite EVERYTHING he has said and done, (at the time of writing) Trump is still just about in the race.

Fingers crossed for a late surge for Biden and Godspeed ‘merica!

In the meantime, here’s yet another picture of the river, but at least this one has it basking in the Winter’s sun.
