Going home

and it was dark already just after 5.00 pm
I have had a friend here all day; a final 'fling' before being locked down from later tonight for four weeks. A most enjoyable day, chatting, drinking coffee, looking at photographs and almost anything else rather than think about what was going on in the USA, where Edwina has relatives hoping for a change...
I'd forgotten how awful the traffic was at work-end time; not having had to be out at that time for many a year!  Dropping Edwina home took sooooo long and then of course I had to come back.  Almost an hour for a round trip of about 4 miles!
As I'd not taken a single shot all day, I snapped a small road by my home before heading inside to a welcome cuppa.
