Total Bull

Waking up to the US election results was a sobering experience - but take courage, this is what had been warned about for ages; Republicans having big initial leads in close states because they like to play COVID roulette and vote in person, while Democrats preferred postal votes, which
are counted last.

On various work calls there was repeated doom and gloom, while I was a lone voice of optimism. There are no guarantees, it will be horribly close, and who knows what legal nonsense the liar in chief will try, but I think it looks like he will lose.

And as any sports fan knows, sometimes a really narrow win over a hated opponent is even more satisfying than a real blowout. Particularly after that jaw droppingly unhinged speech Trump made this morning.
