Bittersweet

I'm in something of a photographic slump. So as we were headed home on our walk, coming down the path along the hayfield, I thought "I'd better take a picture of something." Tada. Bittersweet. This is, I believe, the introduced variety rather than the native variety. But whichever it is, the birds like the berries - so that's okay. I do like the way the yellow shell pops open to reveal a bright red berry.
