Bank Hall Snowdrops
Absolutely gorgeous winter's afternoon for visiting Bank Hall to view the snowdrops. Complete contrast to last Sunday. Took father in law and at 91 it is a task that requires much fore thought ie getting him as close at possible to entrance to the grounds, making sure he is adequately dressed, carrying a folding chair in case of an irregular heat beat incident. As usual he took it all in his stride with no comprehension that me and Mrs Wild were watching him like a hawk. It was heaving with visitors today so much so that we were lucky to get the last pieces of cakes from the refreshment tent. There is nothing quite like sitting in the winter sun with a steaming cup of strong tea and nice slice of cake.
