Autumn

A beautiful sunny day, the last before the second lockdown starts.  Our friends from the Midlands visited us in the morning and we enjoyed showing the local beach and town to them.  They had enjoyed their shortened holiday and were heading back home later today.  We hadn't seen them for many years and hope to catch up with them on easier terms once the Covid situation is under control.  Lovely to see them though.

Late afternoon I decided to visit Woodbury Common and see how the beech trees were faring.  There had been a fair amount of leaf fall but there was still a mix of green and golden leaves around.  Certainly a lot of people out maybe making the most of the last day before lockdown combined with the good weather.
