The accidental finding

Frosty morning in Trinity

Not tombstones, just park railings! This is the Trinity rooms, our nearest public hall, though it actually belongs to Trinity church. I've been to all sorts of functions there, including my own birthday party. Today I was just passing, on my way to work.

What an adventurous day it was, too! Bonfire and marshmallow-toasting in the woods in the morning; pumpkin hunting in the woods in the afternoon. (small flood in the setting mid afternoon, caused by contractors working on the roof).

As it was the last day before England-wide lockdown, I met J after work and we went for some non-panic buying, followed by Thai takeaway food and drink. At least the stalls in the Merrywalks centre (I mean the Five Valleys Shopping Centre) will be open throughout the lockdown for takeaways, and there will be seating available. Last lockdown, there was just a hideous dark building site in the Merrywalks. It's important that there will be indoor, very draughty and well-ventilated, space for meeting, since it's almost winter now.

Walked home and started unpacking a giant stock order which I now will struggle to sell. I'm planning to set up a card stall in the street tomorrow.
