Roses continue..

...this one is Princess Alexandra of Kent. It’s a David Austin variety and flowers all summer. 

No community Covid cases here in Australia today if that helps anyone in lockdown feeling the pain. Most people are now out of lockdown and they are starting to open the internal state borders which has prevented travel within Australia. It has caused terrible disruption for those living on the borders. We still have strict number limits in venues and large gatherings strictly patrolled. Even the wedding I went to last month had a Covid officer. So far Australia has had 27,622 cases ( many of which were returning travellers in quarantine) and 907 deaths in total. 

Today I went to the doctors to have my stitches removed. The “thing” was a SCC which he thinks is all gone but I’m going to the specialist for confirmation and see if I need a bit more taken out. As it’s my wrinkly neck it won’t make me look any worse just a nucience having to book another doctor visit. Get those skin spots checked as they could be nasty. It’s my first skin problem and is in a spot I don’t put sunscreen on as it’s on my neck under my ear. I can’t see it but felt the changes. 

Today I finished the booties for my niece, Helen’s, twins. Also watching the election with interest.
