Orford Supply

Another End-of-an-Era moment. Orford Supply, a motor parts shop round the corner is closing. It's always been there. So handy for car accessories and particularly batteries. 

What are us locals going to do this winter when our cars won't start because the battery has gone flat? Or when we want a wiper blade fitted. Or the time someone scratched their motor down the side of my car and Steve here sorted me out a product which miraculously removed the offender's paint marks?

Steve was happy to show me round the workshop at the back where they test the batteries and keep all the other parts. I never knew the stores went so far back into the building. Fascinating stuff. Look at all those steampunk type switches and dials. Good luck to all the crew for the future.
