What the....?

I have been looking and wondering about this since it arrived in my Christmas Stocking!!!.. I still have no idea what its meant to be really.. other than a terracotta worm (15cms long!).. that much is obvious!! He is quite a smiley fellow.. and I think he will have to be put out in the garden soon to scare away the birds from my veg patch... or something..

At least he has become the subject of a blip.. not totally useless!!
