Last Hurrah....

I'm not sure when I'll be close to Looby-Doo again.... Shelle brought her round this morning and I saw her briefly on my lunch break. Her little hand on my shoulder, her endless exuberance.... she'll be three on Sunday. 

When I came in she said "I missed you!". I gave her a hug and then had to rush to the loo as I was desperate! She came upstairs and talked through the door while she collected Eric, Ro's old cuddly rabbit. When I opened the bathroom door she said "Eric was sad!" I replied "oh no, why was Eric sad?" She said "Eric was sad because the door was shut". I opened my arms and gave Eric a big hug..... guess I'll have to hold my tiddle until Luce is satisfied I've greeted her properly! 

It was nice to be back at school in some ways- I like being busy and maybe I feel useful, capable being at work. The week off was nice, but I'm happy schools are open, and inside it feels very normal. Four year-old's keep you very much in the present, and that's a good thing.
