take me to Seville

Land of sunshine, citrus fruit and olives. I would go tomorrow if I could. Instead I am doing the next best thing. The oranges and lemons were on offer in the supermarket, and Nigel makes the process of making marmalade sound like a sensuous experience. Never mind that noone in our house actually eats the stuff.
Cutting up the peel into fine shreds, squeezing out the juice from the pulp, separating the pips and tying them into a little muslin bag.. all this takes time, which Nigel has plenty of, since he spends his whole life cooking or writing about it. Now it's all marinating in a big bowl and the afternoon has disappeared while I dreamed of Seville.
Time to come down to earth and get some work done!
