Southwark Cathedral and the Shard

Went out for a walk this afternoon and to pick up some stuff from Boots.  There were no boats on the Thames which was rather eerie.

A few sacrifices over the next four weeks could put us in a good place for meeting up at Christmas and the New Year but I am not confident that we will see people pull together to achieve this.

Interestingly there was much less traffic and fewer people about but compliance with face and space guidance looked to be exceedingly low.
They're not big asks in my opinion so it is frustrating to see such behaviours.

Todays Blip follows the thread from the last two days of images that include Churches and The Shard. Southwark Cathedral must have been such an imposing structure in earlier times. Now it is dominated by The Shard and Guy's Hospital.

The new COVID Dashboard looks to be a big improvement and gives information down to a post code level. IF the data is correct then it helps you evaluate what the level of risk in your area.

I will catch up on feedback and thanks this weekend.

Stay safe and have a good weekend.
