Jarada

We had such a good time visiting Jarada 2 weeks ago that we decided to do it again. Got there early, the tide was just starting to go out so very little of the island was visible.  We had the whole little island to ourselves for the first hour.  A little piece of paradise

Corona Virus Update
Bahrain recorded 162 new cases, 1 fatality and 245 recoveries today.

Nearly 49 million people have been infected world-wide and more than 1.23 million have died

The U.S. reported at least 121,200 new cases and at least 1,108 people died

Japan: The country reported 1,054 new cases, the first time since Aug. 21 that the daily count has exceeded 1,000. Japan now has nearly 104,800 cases and its death toll stands at 1,806.

India: The country with the second highest number of cases after the U.S. reported 47,638 new cases in the past day, taking its total to more than 8.4 million. A total of 124,985 people there have died, including 670 in the past day.

In parts of Europe, signs continued to emerge suggesting that the second wave of the pandemic might be beginning to plateau.

In Germany, new confirmed cases reached a new all-time high at 21,506 on Friday, but the pace of increase continued to slow, as it has in the past two weeks. The figure was 15% above its level a week ago, compared with a 40% increase the week before.
