Mackerel sky?

I was out with Bobby this morning - a little dog I walk through the Cinnamon Trust charity. It was a lovely day although very cold. The sky was very unusual. My friend and fellow Blipper W who lives across the other side of London from me, posted a similar Blip, presumably taken at a similar time of the morning.
