Spring will soon be upon us!

We went for a walk this afternoon after working in the morning. It has been a beautiful day today so we headed along the inner firth to Milton of Redcastle.
The thought was to go and see the red squirrels, but one of the locals told us that the best time wasn't in the afternoon, so we will go back at a better time. We walked round the pretty little village and just before we went to look at the castle, we spotted this Pussy Willow just opening, which is a sure sine of spring. I couldn't get over how delicate the fur was that was emerging. In fact you could see all the little strands of fine gossama hair. Amazing!
