Shake it off

After yesterday’s 15 hours in front of the laptop to make meetings hitting all our department member’s time zones (Melbourne to Ottowa) I had an easier day with a nice dog walk late afternoon with Frankie and Cathie.

I had the lovely task of offering a job to someone I interviewed earlier in the week. He’s Yemeni and was so happy. He’ll have to work from home in Sana’a in the current situation, but I think he’s going to be a great addition to my team. So now we have one Brit, one German (who speaks 6 languages fluently) a Filipina, a Brazilian, a Peruvian, a Yemeni and two Italians.

Friday night! Yay.
