Pretty Prison...

... at least now, after it has been decommissioned from its role of Barcelona's main prison in which Franco was still garoting prisoners as late as 1975, even in the face of international protest.   They were members of ETA but all this took place before the peak of the 'troubles' and the worst of that band's atrocities...so the death penalty debate enters here and even if you are in the pro camp (which I am not) garoting is not something to wish upon your worst enemies.
