Lone ash

I think one of the things that is happening with Ash dieback is that the lone older ash are surviving quite well.  This one is such a familiar landmark for miles around the village so I hope it will be alright. Apparently the smaller one to the left was planted to safeguard the future but it could be the younger one that gets infected and then kills the older.  

Fridays are always a roller coaster as people get stuff off their desks onto yours and we had such an afternoon.  Bad news with one show and suddenly at 7pm a major broadcaster emailed me and asked if they could pick up one of our biggest and most ambitious developments.  Not to production at this stage but it’s hugely exciting nonetheless.  Rang the LA based writer who was thrilled.   

Oh, and Sir Tom Jones said in an interview today that he loved The Sister....to which everyone quipped ‘it’s not unusual...’
