Friday fog

What a Friday evening! I had a hospital appointment at 6 pm. I drove and arrived early so I sat in the car listening to the latest election updates. The test went well and I came back to the car ready to go home and enjoy my evening, only to find I’d stupidly left my lights on and I had a flat battery. Nice hospital staff offered to help but in the end poor Martin had to drive out from home with jump leads. Meanwhile I sat in a cold car. When we eventually set off home, it was horribly foggy. Not a pleasant journey! And it was almost bedtime!
