Spur Of The Moment Decision

Today started with blue skies everywhere, after the sun had risen.

I immediately decided that we must jump in our FBI special.

FBI stands for "For Better Ingress". We are very pleased with our new to us car and today was a day to explore the byways of the East Neuk.

Along the route, after visiting the bottle bank we passed by the car parks at Leuchars railway station. Invariably full in normal times I doubt there was twenty cars in both.

Pleased to see that the new University of St Andrews Redevelopment at Guardbridge Paper Mill is finished.

Venturing onward through St Andrews showed a virtually deserted town.

We had an enjoyable time going through the many backroads, and managed to discover two or three new ones.

We visited the beach at Kingsbarns but stayed inside our mobile bubble. There were quite a few surfers about.

We continued around the coast sampling sea air wherever we could, and after three hours or so we arrived back home.

The collage of three photos shows our trees in the morning. Our "lounge" lit up with the sunlight and Kilconquhar Loch.

Pronounced Kinneuchar in the local parlance. This was taken on another road I had not been on and I did not recognise the village till we reached the 30 limit.

At first, I thought had discovered the East Neuk equivalent of Brig of Doune.

Travelling on a road one way is a completely different visual experience to travelling in the opposite direction.

The amount of noise from the empty vessel is increasing.
