Strange fungus

Can anyone identify this fungus that I found growing in one of my borders today. It was a beautiful sunny, mild day and I finished planting my wallflowers and tulip bulbs. Cut down the Jerusalem Artichokes stems and dug up a few tubers to make some soup.
