A garden day

A beautiful day, mostly outside til early afternoon, including a late breakfast. We really enjoyed finishing jobs in the garden, tidying, cutting back, raking leaves and took everything to the tip - very satisfying. So had to be a garden blip today. Love this thuja ' hedge' that we planted a few years ago. These trees are so pretty and now do a perfect job of providing a natural barrier. In winter we light them with fairy lights. Way up high in the background ( seen in thumbnail) is the top of the local mountain ( and chairlift).
