Fix you
Now in Lillehammer Norway for a two-day meeting. In the morning I was astonished to see the lower parts of the steel supports of the railway station ceiling at Oslo Gardermoen airport to be covered with many layers of duct tape.
Apparently somebody had fixed a problem. I hope that not for providing extra support. My suspicion is that the supports are located so that people can bump their heads against them so that the duct tape layers may soften the impacts and eliminate or at least mitigate any injuries. Any other guesses, anyone?
Sorry for no time to check and comment other blips today - have to rush to an important part of the meeting: the common dinner :-)
