Princess

Her birthday today - 14 so all in our bed present opening was at a very civilised hour, even Eldest was up to join us via video call. This was followed by a few rounds of family ‘Among Us’. MrRoly and I really struggle playing it but we try for the sake of the kids!

Brunch of smoked salmon and scrambled egg bagels, Princess’ fave. Then she got ready to go to the beach to meet her bestie for swimming and hot chocolates.

We gardened until The Boy asked for a lift to Swanpool to go surfing with his bestie. We all ended up on the beach in the wind and drizzle for a couple of hours!! Princess was in her element, I’m sure she’s a mermaid!

It was great though - how lucky we are to be able to do this in the current situation, we think we were within the rules - Princess met 1 friend outside, The Boy met 1 friend outside, MrRoly, Smallest and I strolled together and supervised in our family unit?!

This evening is Chinese Takeaway and Pavlova instead of birthday cake :-D
