Old flooring

We decided to rip up the front room carpet today in an effort to rid the house of the stink of puppy training wee wee.  Look what we found underneath!!  It’s lovely old parquet flooring, but has patches missing which have been filled in with concrete.  As we had already bought Laminate flooring, underlay etc we have covered it back up again for a project in the future.

After working all day on it, there is still about a fifth left to finish, but we were tired out and making mistakes so it was time to stop.  Now my back won’t work!  Looks quite good though :)
