Carriage Wheel.......

While I was out on a bike ride this afternoon,  I saw a new front yard ornament.    It was a rim of an old fashion Dr's wagon.  This rim was the inside of the wooden wheel.  You can see the metal spokes that went through the wooden part.  The metal spokes are attached to the hub which slid over the spindle of the wagon.   All of the wood has rotted away over the years.  Originally, there was another metal rim that would have surrounded  the wood that rolled on the ground.  The wheel is fairly small because it was on a small wagon that only transported 2 or maybe 3 people at the most.   
      The owner put a pot of Bergonia's at the base, that grow up like a vine wrapping around the framework.    This is the time of year that Bergonia's  bloom.their beautiful colors .
