Cafe culture

After several hours digging and replanting the bulbs I dug up this morning it was lovely to get out this afternoon and meet friends (from one other household!) for afternoon coffee (in my case).

As I had skipped lunch I indulged in pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Felt right the way things were going in the USA.

Great to catch up though not the same as if we had been in Comrie this weekend as originally planned.

The place was quite busy both indoors and out. I took this after a table had left. Under the awning heaters it was (just) warm enough.

Home to make coconut chicken curry (I cut the number of garlic cloves from 12 to 6 and it still tasted good).

Then a toast to celebrate the formal decision in the US elections.
