On the Crest of the College

The entrance to the City Council building with various Coats of Arms above the door. The building was looking splendid in the sunshine today. The Coats of Arms no doubt pertain to Aberdeen University, the former occupant of the building, and not to the City Council. The crest second from right is the City shield, and some of the others I think I have also seen at the University buildings in Old Aberdeen.

There was definite warmth in the sun today, a hint of spring and possibly an even fainter suggestion that beyond spring may lie summer.
