Fishing.....

Long but fruitful meeting this morning and it is extremely hot!  Busy working on a powerpoint this evening with my colleagues!  At least tomorrow should be more relaxing!!
 
Walked down to the river just as the sun was setting - met this lovely guy who had just sold his fish so he was happy!
 
Lundazi is a rural town in Eastern Zambia and the main road into the town has 2 bridges.  Last year the first bridge washed away in the rainy season, then the second bridge washed away!  The first bridge has been repaired (but is unstable), the second bridge is still not repaired and rains are upon us once again!  Its so difficult for people (most people walk or ride bicycles) to get across the river (which as many hippos in it) - the other road is very far and yet the government do not seem concerned!  I feel very sad for the people of Lundazi right now!
