STILL FLOWERING

This rose bush is in the front garden and is still covered in blooms.  Cannot bring myself to cutting them back yet.

Mr A spent the morning clearing leaves off the back garden and today (Sunday) he is sweeping up the front.  Because we have massive trees all around us it is a full time job at the moment.

As I was dressing this morning I could see people gathering around the memorial armed with poppies in the front of the church.  There must have been a service of some kind without singing of course.  On the television Matthew watched the parade.

As we remember all those who gave their lives to set us free we must also think of the deadly unseen virus silently killing us.  The NHS work tirelessly to keep us from dying and if everyone came under authority we could eliminate the bug.  It will be selfishness that defeats us!
