2142. Kangaroo!

I bought this brooch in Australia in 2016 when I was staying with my sister...we had the most amazing time in Sydney.  I was very worried about losing it when I wore it as the catch was quite loose so I asked my local jeweller to make it into a pendant.  I love what he managed to do so tried it out on this pearl necklace which has a gold clasp but the pendant just wouldn’t sit straight and kept turning over!  It still has the clasp on the back so I decided to attach it to my dress and that worked brilliantly...I couldn’t lose it and it didn’t turn over when I moved either...
I did what I think will probably be my last volunteering stint at the flu clinic this morning for four hours...and got soaked walking home as I forgot to take my brolly...
I managed to persuade the staff at the clinic that it would be good to observe the 2 minutes silence at 11am after a nurse told me that “the public probably wouldn’t like that”....but then another member of staff spoke to her and suggested that most people wouldn’t object so we did stop and observe the silence....

Relaxing now and keeping nice and cosy indoors...
