Returning...

from the walk, I travelled along this road that is usually one I visit to see its magnificent show of Rhododendrons. Today the Autumn colours surprised and pleased me.
It was a totally windless day, dry and quite warm after an overnight frost.
Saw two House Martins that seem to have left migration very late. Presume they were a late clutch. Hope they make it.
