Too early?

We spotted these chaps on our post brunch perambulations around Eltham. While the whole tableau is rather tasteful, you have to ask yourself, is it too early? 
By my reckoning it is early November and nutcrackers with garlands are due to turn up a bit later in the year.
What do you think about the trend towards Halloween/November 5th/Christmas merging (at least as far as the shops are concerned).
