Sunburst Finish

This afternoon I took a late long walk along Larkdown (or Lockdown as it has been renamed again) and up Lark Hill.

The sky was mainly clear; but the were clouds being held up along the Ridgeway.  It is a surprisingly effective barrier to the weather at times.  Fortunately we are on the 'right side' of the ridge the majority of the times (but it does work both ways.)

I know you shouldn't take pictures into the sun, and it has burnt out a portion of the image, but I wanted to capture the atmosphere as best I could.
