The Last Post

Today is Remembrance Sunday and normally my brother in law, who is the leader of the Town Band in Dunmow, would be at the local town War Memorial with the band providing some music as a tribute to the fallen. Since COVID has stopped all gatherings at the moment he was honoured to perform the Last Post and Reveille from the highest point in the town at 11:02 - the top of St Mary’s church. It was live streamed on FB so I took a picture of my iPad as we obviously couldn’t be there.
My day has been very lazy, watching cookery programmes, researching recipes, catching up on blip comments and zooming with the in-laws. It’s been quite relaxing actually.
