Remembrance

We have an unusual war memorial in town - when a wealthy local chap was killed in WWI, his mother gave money and land to provide a public park in his memory. The wind vane is a later addition and sits above one of the entry points to the park. As it happens, the entry point is also a loo block - always so classy around here!
