Egyptian geese
While the lockdown has forced national trust properties to close, the gardens are still open. We managed to book tickets to go to Osterley Park in London.
While it was quite busy near the house, once we began the walk it was very quiet. You wouldn’t know you were in London expect for the aircraft flying overhead from Heathrow every so often. While we were looking at the lake a pair of Egyptian geese flew in and decided to preen themselves and have a rummage in their rear feathers very close to us. They had no fear of humans whatsoever. Lovely to see them.
