REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
I put together a little collage of things to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

I had a nice lazy day at home today. Did nothing much apart from catching up with some TV viewing. Weather was misty and dull so it was a good day to stay indoors.
At 6.45pm I got ready to watch the " virtual reveal " of Fenwicks Christmas Window via Facebook. Fenwicks is a department store in Newcastle which has a 30 foot window facing Northumberland Street. Every year it has a spectacular Christmas window tableau. The first one was in 1971. Usually when the window is revealed there are hundreds of people crowded outside to watch but of course this year due to lockdown this wasn't allowed so the store decided to do the reveal online. The theme this year is Wind In The Willows. As usual the moving figures and the sets are excellent and each window tells a story as you move along. Can't wait to be able to go to Newcastle and see it in person. I have added a collage in my Extras. ( Quality isn't good as the shots are from my computer.)
