Morning Walk in Busta Garden

Mostly cloudy, but a calm morning.  Winds picked up through the day, and showers this evening.   

Up early, and then headed down for birthday breakfast with Madeline and big Brian.  Packed up and headed back home after we checked out.  Walkies around Scalloway, and plenty of folk wanting to chat.  Met friend Julie and headed walkies with the dogs after lunch.  Popped into the pub this afternoon, and renovations have started well.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, in the rain.  Feet up now.

It was a splendid night, and good to see it busy, with locals supporting the hotel, food and staying over.  Sammy finally settled in the room at bedtime, and enjoyed his first hotel experience.  Sammy also enjoyed his morning stroll and sniff around the hotel gardens.  It's under new ownership, so there's a lot of work going on around the old building, and hope it all goes well for them.  Taken in the Busta garden, Brae.
