A very windy and chilly (55ºF) walk along the beach at Half Moon Bay.  Just us, the birds, surf, and stinging sand.  Beach therapy. 

You'll have to look carefully to see little plovers using the dune plants as windbreaks, there are three in this shot all standing protected behind their own plant.  This was all the way along the beach.  Wonderful.
