Strawberry Fields Forever

Even though winter isn't quite over yet the strawberry fields are already covered with foil to give the plants an early start. As this region is getting more than its share of global warming more and more farmers grow strawberries and asparagus instead of corn, so when I look out of the window in spring the landscape still looks as if it was covered with snow.
