Neighbourhood colour

A gorgeous, unseasonably warm day, 78F (25C) ! We treated ourselves to American pancakes for breakfast, then Roger went off for his Covid test. As I write this in the evening, he does seem to be perking up, so maybe it was just a feverish cold, but he doesn’t usually feel so lethargic with a cold, so better to check it out. We had a long chat with Laura, then watched our streamed morning service. I went out for a walk around the neighbourhood this afternoon, enjoying the beautiful colours which still persist, and looked so striking against the bright blue sky. We experimented with Kroger (our local supermarket) curbside pick up today, but we weren’t overly impressed - quite a number of items missing, so I shall still have to go tomorrow or Tuesday.
