Lines to nowhere

Sleeping pretty well at the moment, both of us have been really tired. Woke up to bright sunshine, had a leisurely breakfast, just fruit, seeds and yogurt.

Hub spent quite a bit of time on the phone this morning, so I went to the shop for his paper, fresh baguette etc. We had a lazy morning overall really, struggling for motivation.....

After lunch we did get out into the front garden to cut back our magnolia tree a little. We made the mistake of cutting it back around the crown a few years ago, which means now we get lots of spindly new growth each year but no flowers on those branches :-/ Anyhow, it looks tidier now.

Todays blip has many leading lines in this landscape composition.....but I have to own up to the fact that it wasnt taken today :-/ as we havent ventured out. Hope I am forgiven.....it is from our last visit to Southport Pier.

Its already dark outside at 4.45......think its a salmon & prawn pasta dish for dinner this evening. Yet to concoct it ;-)

Jason bit the dust in SCD last night, right decision for me........watched Roadkill too, we have really enjoyed that series.

We are hoping to get out tomorrow all being well.
