Heron

It almost felt warm this morning ..... not a breath of wind and plenty of sunshine.  There were some super reflections. I was hoping to find some lapwings which I did but they were sharing the pontoon with various gulls. To try and take a photo I was looking straight into the sun so I didn't.

I walked further up the path to an area out of the direct sunlight and there, minding his own business, was the heron.
