Homemade beef pho
I've been neglecting blip again. Here's a photo of our dinner tonight just to get me back into the swing of things.
Homemade beef pho. It is a very simple dish to make but requires a bit of preparation. The stock is made from beef bones (that's what Morrisons claim anyway), ginger, onion and spices and it has been simmering in our slow cooker since 9am. The rest of the dish just takes a few minutes to assemble: boil some rice sticks, place them in a bowl and top with a layer of some thinly sliced raw beef. Pour over hot stock and serve with an assortment of garnishes.
The last photo posted was of wontons so I think I will stick with the food theme for the rest of the month.
