Travelling and Arriving

So here we are ion the island of Öland, in the SE of Sweden, staying with Shelling for almost a week. It is so good to be here with our old friend who we met many, many years ago. For a lot of years we lived in the same town and we have a shared a lot of experiences, musical, in the great outdoors, and over a lot of food and cups of coffee.
Our trip here was special because of the troubled situation with Covid. The 3 airports we experienced were all remarkably empty, as were the two planes we flew on. All very strange.
But now it's midnight and exhaustion is setting in so I'll just say goodnight and sign off.
