Day 232 Still waiting to be planted...

We bought these violas and trailing plant some weeks ago and my intention was - and still is - to plant up one of the hanging baskets.  Unfortunately, due to my mobility problems, they remained on the patio, firstly at ground level, where you can see that some snails have had a nibble, and now they wait on the patio table for that right dry, warmish day where I can sit at the table to plant.
In other news: it would appear that the first Covid-19 vaccine has been developed with potentially 90%  protection and could be offered as early as December...or January...or Spring, depending on which source you look at. Hospital staff, care home workers and residents are likely to be the first to be prioritised. The news has brought cautious optimism from most quarters.
