Public displays of affection...
I've been watching the 'phoneworld' series and the 'one street' project and I've thought about doing them but I can't decide which street to use so after taking this shot today, FT and I decided we'd start a series on public displays of affection, from hugs to handholding, kissing to anything else that fits the bill. Feel free to join in, there are no rules or regulations... simply capture a little bit of love and affection and blip it! I'm tagging with PDOA should you feel the urge to join us. Now I'm going to look out for kissing couples! There are definitely more PDOA's to be found while I'm out and about.
I'd seen the man with his camera out and was fishing out a blip card to go over and confess my peeping tomfoolery when he came over to us! Caught red-handed but he said he was a photographer too so I think he got it. Maybe we'll have a new blipper signing up.
I've had a lovely day with DrMacBatts, FT and Pixel8. We visited the portrait gallery which is in a lovely building but I'm a philistine when it comes to history and ancient old art. I think perhaps I'm more of a fan of modern art than I thought. We went to The Dome for a legendary club sandwich and then to sit in the sunshine in Princes Street gardens for a while whilst wearing my factor 50!! Lovely to be able to sit out and not be freezing! Welcome to spring! After that DrMacBatts collected the girls and we wandered along to the Red Squirrel... dog friendly boozer (more to be found on dugsnpubs) and blethered for a couple of hours before the girls demanded food and took off home while we went next door to Wagamamas.
I rolled home. FT and I have invented the chopstick diet... mainly cause neither of us can use them properly and it will likely take so long to actually finish a meal that we'll be thin in no time. I stole my chopsticks! Starts tomorrow!
Lovely day off... a nice start to my four day week! Hurrah! Thank you all for your company, very relaxed day.
58 sleeps!
