A lovely visitor

Since the weather has begun to turn more Autumnal this little Robin has been popping into the garden ..... such a treat to see it :-)

Been in the garden ..... more tidying up & yes I did pull up these clumps of wayward grass! I have finally given in & cut back two of the Lavender plants ..... it seemed such a shame as it was still flowering ... but it will be turning cold soon & it's no fun freezing while you are doing it!

I did deprive a Ladybird & at least two of the Plume Moths of a home by doing it ...... maybe that would have been a good excuse not to cut it back .... but it was taking over!

Still more tidying to do .... but not too much! Probably a job for Thursday as it is supposed to be dry then!
